Sebastian Redondo (Ceuta, 1934 ✝ Amsterdam 2015)

Sebastian is one of the thousands of Spanish immigrants that in the sixties arrived to The Netherlands looking for a better future. A couple of years later he was able to bring his wife and kids to Amsterdam, where he had find work.

After his divorce he ended living alone and having to take care of himself. He never wanted a cleaning lady and does every day the shopping and cooking. Sebastian has regularly contact with his sons and keeps good contact with his friends and neighbors who keep an eye on him and help him translating letters in Dutch, language he never really learned.
