Born in Barcelona in1968, Oski went to a bilingual (Catalan-Spanish) elementary school where he soon started to show interest for drawing and visual arts.

His first contact with photography was at the Art Academy Massana where he studied graphic design, and it was back then that he bought his first 35-mm film camera.

That same camera and a skateboard were his most important gadgets when, at the age of 19, he moved to San Francisco (USA) for a year. Aside from being part of the skate scene, he interfaced and collaborated with some local Mexican artists & galleries.

His interest for photography increased during the early 90’s. After getting settled in he’s new home base Amsterdam and learning Dutch, he attended some photography lessons at the "Amsterdams Centrum van Fotografie" and set up his first darkroom at home.

It was then that he got in contact with the Gkf (dutch photography federation) in order to get further inspired and learn from the well-respected Dutch photographers.

Around the same time he met his wife Judith Rooijers (Amsterdam, 1970), painter and art teacher, with who he has a daughter (Kim, 2002).

In 1997 they moved to Barcelona for a year where he worked as a photographer for some Spanish music magazines: Rock Sound, Mondosonoro.

Upon his return to Amsterdam in 1998, he carried on his photography carreer. Since then he is being working as an independent portrait, documentary and architecture photographer for many editorials and studios such as OOR, Quote and Architektenbureau de Cie.
